Kids' Night Out - April 24 5-8pm

Kids’ Night Out is designed for fun and fellowship. It is designed for parents to drop-off their kids at about 5 pm and pick them up by 8 pm. The kids in each age group will have some playtime with their peers, do a craft, watch a short movie (probably Veggie Tales) with snack, play games, have fun with music, etc. It is strictly a time of fun and play, while in a safe, loving environment. We do require registration prior to the event so we have a reasonable teacher/child ratio (ie 5:1). We ask that at least one parent have a cell phone, if we need to contact you in the event of an emergency. Depending on the number of kids signed up, we may order pizza and provide dinner as well, but we will know that in advance of that night.

If you are new to the area (or not), this is a great opportunity for you and your husband to have a date night without the expense of a babysitter.

He is risen!

He is risen indeed! What a great Easter weekend in Colorado Springs! Beautiful weather, sunny skies, and the wind even stopped (at least slowed down) for a short while. Thank you, God, for the sunny skies and spring-like temperatures during a joyous celebration weekend.

Thank YOU for participating in or donating towards our Easter Eggstravaganza yesterday. 150 kids and over 300 adults attended our annual Easter celebration! Many familiar faces...some church family, some preschool family...thank you for coming to support this ministry. I also saw many faces I did not recognize...those from our community and neighborhoods who do not regularly come into our building. Thank you to those who reached out to them and said, "Hello", or engaged tham in conversation. That is what ministry is all about!

I look forward to this Spring and time of renewal. In His Kids' ministry, we are reewning our commitment to your children and the children of our community. We want to bring them into His Kingdom through love and fellowship. Look for upcoming events! In fact, see the next post.... =)
